Ice skating is a great activity for the whole family and there are plenty of places to do it in the Alps!
It's a good choice if you're wanting to take a break from the slope or do something different with the kids. The Ice rink can provide stability penguins, meaning that the youngest can have a go.
The Ice rink isn't open all day so you will need to check the opening times. This is a perfect activity for when the weather is nice. The Ice rink is greatly situated boasting stunning views of the mountains and bars and restaurants nearby
If the weather isn't great you can still go skating. The Palais des Sports has an impressive indoor rink which is home to the Chamonix-Morzine Pioneers Ice Hockey Club.
During the day, ice skating clubs and the public use the rink but by night it transforms into a lively and loud sporting arena. When the weather is bad, this weather is perfect for the family.
If staying in Les Gets, the ice rink is just a short distance away!
