If you reckon you can cram even more in, you can pay a little extra to add even more activities to your holiday, but we’ve included some of the best for free.

Itinerary Suggestion

These are guide itineraries using our Free Active pack with top-up costs as indicated. You can mix and match activities and swap days around from those illustrated.
Day 1
AM – Mountain bike ride (Included)
Grab a bike from our racks and follow our route cards for some exhilarating Cross-country (green-level) trails using the gondola lift (€5 per uplift). Or take it easy and cruise along beautiful woodland trails by the river Dranse, with kids fun parks and activities along the way
PM – Swimming and fun at the lake (Included)
Cycle, walk or catch the free resort shuttle to lake Montriond. It’s a 30 min cycle and offers swimming, sun bathing and beach-style games in the sun. Rent a pedalo or kayak from €10
Day 2
AM - Guided Walk or Hike (Included*)
Join our free guided walk, run by a local (professional) mountain guide who will give you a tour of the area. Discover high altitude trails (using your free lift pass) and lots of stunning scenery and wildlife. We run family walking groups, walks for teenagers and more serious hikers.
PM - The Aquatic Centre (Included*)
Relax at the Aquatic centre, you’ve earned it... for outdoor swimming, sunbathing beach, giant slides, kids games and family fun, (6 days free access with our Multi-pass).
Day 3
AM – White Water Rafting (Included*)
Enjoy our complimentary white water rafting. It promises to be a very sociable and exhilarating day out - enjoyed with other Alpine Elements guests - and fun for all ages 8+
PM – Ice Skating or Tennis (Included*)
Play some tennis or try ice skating at the leisure centre (6 days free access with our Multi-pass). Borrow some racquets from our hotel reception. All ages can ice skate from 4+
Day 4
PM – High altitude bike ride (Included*)
Make use of your free bike hire and follow our Route Cards to Les Gets. Use the gondola (€5 uplift) and choose the easy family routes or Downhill trails. Stop in Les Gets for lunch or swimming at the lake.
PM – Canyoning (£45)
Try the addictive sport of Canyoning! One of our most popular add-on activities: it involves rappelling oneself down a river canyon with rock slides, abseiling down waterfalls and jumping into rock pools to keep you busy.
Day 5
AM – Hike up to Pointe de Nyon (Included*)
Ride up the Nyon Cable using your free lift pass to reach the base of this stunning peak. Then continue via mountain pathways to reach the top and be rewarded with views of Mont Blanc.
PM - Paddle boarding or Kayaking (Included*)
Head over to Lake Montriond, (by resort bus or bike), and enjoy your free session of paddle boarding or kayaking on this beautiful lake. Or go wild swimming, sun bathing... and just relax. SUP/Kayak is an organised activity by us, using a local supplier. Age 4+
Day 6
PM - Paragliding / Parapenting (+£65)
Try something different! Join a tandem flight with an instructor, high above the Morzine Valley. Experience incredible views and the sensation of flying. Age 8+
PM – Ride the Luge or Wi-Bit aqua park (Included)
Two suggestions: Walk over to the luge, an exhilarating alpine toboggan run for adults and kids (€4-5 cost). Or head to the lake in Les Gets (by free bus or two-wheels) and make use of the aqua park with inflatable water obstacles. Free for our Les Gets guests.
Please note:
These itineraries are a guide. Many of the resort-based activities like ice skating, paddle boarding, tennis etc are self-serve which means you travel to (e.g.) the nearby lake r leisure centre and organise in your own time. You may need to wait for sessions in busy periods. Our Active Reps are on hand for advice.
For organised group activities, (like white water rafting and guided walks), your Active Reps will organise travel and meeting points when you arrive in resort. Session times may change. The bike rides and walking suggestions are self-guided. We provide Route Cards and maps, so you can find your own way around marked trails and the lift system.
