Alpine Elements Insurance
A Specialist Policy
We believe your enjoyment and safety are of paramount importance when travelling with us. It is therefore a requirement when booking one of our holidays that you have adequate Active Sports Insurance Cover before you travel, especially if partaking in hazardous activities such as mountain biking, sailing, skiing or rafting. Many policies do not provide an appropriate level of cover, and so Alpine Elements have partnered with Endsleigh to develop a bespoke policy that is specifically designed for you whilst partaking on our holidays. This policy is available to both UK and non-UK residents and will cover trips in Europe. See “Your Responsibility” below.
If you are in the process of booking an Alpine Elements Holiday or have already booked you may want to consider what level of insurance protection you have in place in case the worst were to happen. As a customer of Alpine Elements we would always recommend you purchase adequate and fit for purpose travel insurance. Unlike many travel insurance policies the Alpine Elements policy provides full cover for activities such as Winter Sports, Mountain Biking and much more.
Cover Against Cancellation
Taking out your travel insurance at the time of booking your trip is a really good idea as cover for pre-departure cancellation starts from the policy issue date, that is, when you have paid for the policy. This means you’ll have cover to recoup your costs if you have to cancel your trip for an insured reason such as illness or serious accident preventing you from travelling.
How much does it cost?
The below premiums are based on either per person or couple / family rates, cover only within Europe and also include IPT (insurance premium tax). If you are not compeletly satisfied, you can request a full refund of this insurance within 14 days (or departure date if sooner)
Please use the Winter / Extreme policy for Activities such as: Rafting, Canyoning, Hydrospeeding, Skiing & snowboarding, Via Ferrata. If you wish to view the full list of these extreme activities see the Extreme Activity List.
