Free Bike Hire: Specialized Pitch (2019/20)
- Hotel guests: Grab a bike from our racks, there’s plenty to go around.
- Chalet guests: Get a free upgrade: Your own bike, fitted to you, for the week
- All sizes: Small, Medium & Large (Age 8 +)
- Suitable Use: Gentle ‘Green’ trails, resort rides & valley floor trails
- Spec: 100mm Front fork, 27.5" wheels, disc brakes
This versatile bike will soak up the valley floor trails and the (gentler) high mountain Green trails; yet be equally at home on a family bike ride pottering around the lake or along the river. With a light-weight aluminium frame, front suspension and performance-driven parts, these bikes are the perfect steed for an alpine adventure and their quality of construction will give you the confidence to ride gentle off-road trails and mountain paths. We don’t recommend using this bike for anything more than the easy Green (lift-assisted) trails which are limited in Val’D and Tignes.
Bike Availability
Bikes are available for all our hotel and chalet guests. Hotel guests can grab a bike from our racks whenever they please. For chalets, guests will have their own bike allocated to them for the week as part of our chalet bike upgrade package. For hotel guests, there are plenty of bikes to go around and if you ever have to wait, it’ll be for a short time only. In our experience you will get plenty of time on a bike during your week.
Reserve a bike
Hotel guests may reserve a bike to use all week, (with their setting unchanged), for a supplement of £79. Normally, guests get more than enough use of our free bikes (of which there are plenty!). Regrettably we cannot make refunds for pre-reserved bikes in resort.
