Tignes

Tignes is a bit of a gem! Sporty types will love the sheer amount of activities on offer: from Whitewater rafting… to tennis… to mountain biking… and summer skiing on Europe’s highest glacier which is open in summer with 25kms of piste.

Tignes’ large lake is an impressive centre-point to the resort and great for water sports and lake activities, with cafes and kids activities along its shoreline. Try everything from paddle boarding to human-size water balls and even fly fishing (with an instructor)

Most of the best activities are included for free with our Active Packs which will keep you busy enough, but if you’ve got any spare time - the area is also renowned for its rock climbing, its horse riding, road biking and glacier walking to name a few.

The Alps in summer - and especially Tignes - are made for families! The sheer variety of activities on offer will ensure all ages are happily entertained all week - with more free and inclusive activities than you can shake a kayak paddle at! There’s things to do for the under 4’s and lots more for the over 6’s. And of course your teenagers are going to love this place! It has heaps of crazy sports that they will love to do.

Our hotel enjoys a central location, a stone’s throw from the biking and walking lifts and trails and the funicular lift for skiing and glacier walking. It’s also close to the shops, bars, tennis courts and only 5 mins cycle to the lake. Your kids will love our Active Kids Club which operates from the hotel for five half days a week. Plenty of time for parents to enjoy some “time out” to try activities for themselves.
