Chalet Camelia

Meribel
5 Rooms

Chalet Camelia is located next door to our brand new Chalets Camarine & Victoria. It has been thoughtfully designed and furnished by its artist owner and guests will enjoy the spacious living area with an attractive stone fireplace, comfortable sofas and south-facing terrace.

About Chalet Camelia

Chalet Camelia has had a recent refurbishment and enjoys a modern and bright feel with spectacular views from its south facing terrace of the ski slopes heading down from Roc de Fer in the distance.

You’ll enjoy cosy evenings in front of a roaring log fire with stunning mountain views whilst tucking into afternoon tea and a well-deserved three course dinner cooked by our fantastic chalet hosts.

We like the pine ceilings and exposed beams which give it a warm and homely feel. Expect modern ensuite bathrooms in each of the brightly furnished bedrooms, sunny alpine views and bucket loads of atmosphere form this great ski chalet.

Location

Chalet Camarine is next door to chalets Victoria and Camarine.

If you want to sample the famous Méribel nightlife, then fear not - it’s only 300 metres from the popular apres ski bar of O’Sullivans and 550 metres (or a 10 min walk) from the start of the shops and bars in Meribel centre.

For skiing, we recommend taking the free shuttle bus to the slopes, it stops outside the chalet (within 50m) and will whisk you there in a matter of minutes. The bus runs until 11pm with increased services during peak times.

Eat, drink and go skiing

The only thing we enjoy as much as fresh powder is freshly-cooked food at the end of a day on the slopes. You can expect the very best from our highly-trained hosts and chefs, because we know that eating and drinking well are essential parts of any ski holiday.

Each morning you’ll enjoy our very own Breakfast of Champions. A freshly-cooked Full English or other cooked breakfast options to set you up for the day; or mouth-watering continental options if you’d prefer, with a slap-up continental breakfast on staff days off.

Nothing beats a freshly-baked cake and afternoon tea when you get back in from the slopes and each of our chalets has its own Nespresso machine supplying fresh coffee on tap to help you stay suitably caffeinated throughout your holiday.

  • Breakfast each day (7 days) with hot options most days
  • Afternoon tea, coffee & hot chocolate with freshly baked cakes (6 days)
  • Three-course Dinners (6 nights)
  • Red & white wines with dinner, unlimited until dessert.
  • Special celebration menus at Christmas & New Year

About Meribel

Meribel itself provides the perfect conditions for beginners and early intermediates to quickly improve their skiing, with a range of challenging and not so challenging descents.

The facilities for snowboard holidays are superb, with three snow park and pipe options in the Meribel sector alone.

There are many more very well maintained parks throughout the Trois Vallees, all easily accessible and feature a good variety of hips, slides and jumps to suit all abilities. There is also a border cross course for varying levels of potential snowboard racers!

Book Smart and Save Money

Get 'On the Snow' Faster With Us

If you pre-book your ski extras with us then our ‘On the Snow’ service will help you get started in resort. We can save you two very precious things - money and time - if you pre-book the holy trinity of ski passes, hire and lessons early with us. After all, the mountains are too much fun to waste time queuing for lift passes or traipsing around resort looking for the best deal for ski hire.

Once you arrive with us, our ‘On the Snow’ team of reps will collect pre-booked lift passes for you and deliver them to the breakfast table on your first morning. They will also do their best to fast-track you through the ski shops and get you on the mountain as quickly and easily as they possibly can.

Ski and Board Hire

Unless you own your own skis or board, then you’re going to need to rent some. Nowadays the standard of rental skis is very good and we only work with the best suppliers.

Lift Passes

We also recommend that you pre-book your lift pass through us as well. This way we can bring your lift pass to the breakfast table on your first morning before you head out.

Ski/Board Lessons

Again, we always recommend pre-booking lessons to guarantee availability. We can book you into group lessons for all levels of skier and boarder – beginner to expert.

Price Match Promise

If you do find a better price for your skis and board hire elsewhere, (so long as it’s the same quality), then let us know and we guarantee we will not only match it, but we’ll beat it too!
