Inclusive activities
The Nyon is a Premium Plus Chalet with an enhanced level of service (from our brilliant staff!) and a location to dream of. It overlooks the Nyon forest; is within 100 metres of the Nyon cable car and enjoys ‘route one’ access to a plethora of great mountain activities on its doorstep: from epic biking and walking trails to Via ferrata, climbing and Canyoning in the nearby Nyon waterfalls.
Once you’re ready to head out our Activity Team are there to hook you up with all the fun and adventure you can handle: We’ll help you get wet by joining an organised session of Stand-up paddle boarding or kayaking and Whitewater rafting; or help you join our free-and-inclusive guided walks, (ed by a professional guide. Nothing breaks the ice with your fellow guests like trekking through jaw-dropping vistas and experiencing some real alpine terrain.
If you’re keen to go biking then grab a bike from our nearby hotels (they’re free to use) and go for a two-wheeled adventure. You’ll love the resort trails which wind their way along stunning scenery, but if they simply aren’t enough then you can pay a little extra for a biking lift pass and a full suspension bike to explore the high mountain routes, (from €5 per uplift).
We include a free Morzine Multipass for resort activities and a pedestrian lift pass (25 lifts) for accessing the mountain activities and walking trails (850Km’s) and you’ll find more than enough activities on the Multipass to keep you busy all week.
If you’re in need of a breather, then our inclusive Active Kids Club (4-12yrs) is located at a nearby hotel, so you can drop your kids off and let them go wild as they meet other kids and try new experiences with our childcare leaders.
Before June 26: there may be fewer facilities and lifts open with slightly reduced activities, but still plenty to see and do for an exciting week away.
About the Chalet
For mountain-lovers who like a little luxe in their life, chalet Nyon is part of our Premium Plus chalet range, and your friendly chalet hosts will be there to welcome you with a glass (or two) of bubbles when you arrive. If you’ve been to Morzine you’ll know it’s unusual to be so close to the lifts and activities, but Chalet Nyon delivers on comfort as well as convenience. This is a real mountain lovers retreat.
The chalet has been beautifully restored to offer the charm and beauty of an old, traditional chalet with the modern luxuries of a smart alpine retreat. It has a pretty exterior, clad in antique wood, while inside, the Nyon’s cosy, firelit rooms were designed by Caroline Fooks Interiors, and are just a stone’s throw from the Nyon cable car and the Nyon-based activities of Canyoning and Via Ferrata. At the end of the day soak up the last of the evening sun in the hot tub on the terrace, taking in panoramic views of the Vallee de la Manche.
